NDLEA Uncovers Major Colorado Drug Lab in Lagos, Arrests 30-Year-Old Owner

The NDLEA has uncovered a major Colorado drug lab in Lagos, arresting its 30-year-old owner, Stephen Kelechi Imoh, amidst rising concerns over cannabis production and the illegal drug trade in Nigeria.

Operatives from the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency raided a residential building in Ajao estate, Isolo, Lagos, discovering a clandestine laboratory producing Colorado, a synthetic strain of cannabis.
The raid followed months of intelligence gathering regarding possible Colos laboratories in Lagos, leading to the seizure of large quantities of freshly cooked Colos and various chemical substances.
Stephen Kelechi Imoh, the 30-year-old owner of the lab, was arrested during the operation, highlighting the ongoing challenges of the illegal drug trade in local government areas of Nigeria.
